Thursday on Friday, Just Go With It
1. iPod Today: Animotion (like a butterfly, a wild butterfly, I will capture you...)
3. Last Night: More swimming, more diving, my gawking (was that my outside voice?)
4. My Cats are currently: averaging about 3 cute poses a day.5. Time for Thursday Cake Collage #4!! (on Friday). Which one strikes your fancy? (zoom in to see the detail)
6. Altho none of my friends and family planned this, I have been getting a steady stream of packages that started ON my birthday, and are still coming. I think they should do this every year, don't you? :)
7. Speaking of CAKE, which I seem to be a lot lately, we went for our cake-tasting! We had a choice between 12 flavors!! This is what the sampler looked like:
Flavors: top: Limoncello, Carrot, Tiramisu, Dulce de Leche
next row: Summer Berry, Toasted Coconut, Raspeberry Jammy
last: Choc. Blackout w/esspresso chip, Red Velvet, Choc Blackout with toffee, Triple Chocolate (just wrong)
8. I got an email from a Mr. Agamemnon Chung yesterday (I assume he's a mister). Do you think it was spam? I didn't open it. But now I'm thinking he must have been someone really important. Like the director of that new foreign indie film about the secret life of dustbunnies. Or the famous violinist who played the entire Mendelssohn Concerto with only his pinkies. Or the scientist who discovered that everybody is full of malarkey and chocolate cake is actually very good for you. (Aaaaaaannnnd we're back at cake again)
9. I've been tagged by *Sandra* and *Stacie* ... for a fun meme, so I will try to do that tomorrow (SAT). :)

11. My neighbors, whom I affectionately call The Firestarters (because I had to call the Fire Dept on them when I noticed 11 foot flames raging above their brush fire in their back yard... what state do we live in? Oh yeah, farking flammable California, you imbeciles!). ... anyway, I look out my window, and Mr. Firestarter has hacked their trees within an inch of their lives again. Gosh, and I was just saying to B the other day how much I wished I had an unobstructed view of their overgrown war-zone-looking landscaping and stagnant swimming pool. Maybe they'd appreciate it if I gave them something worth seeing on our side of the wall.... ? (a wall, I might add, that we made 1 foot taller last year)
12. Now that the guests have received their invitations, here they are (B and I designed them, tied them with ribbons and an RSVP card). I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Having an artist hubby is a handy thing (zoom in to really appreciate).
You may think I've removed the date and time and place for this blog, but no, we sent it like this. If they want wedding cake, they'll have to get off their butts and find it. 13.
